As I’ve pointed out, for a “non-partisan news correspondent” (you know, like Major Garrett), the Cartoon Network’s Fox News’ Megyn Kelly has gotten weirdly bent out of shape over what she perceives to be anti-Palin reporting. I was starting to believe that a non-partisan news correspondent might be permitting her support for John McCain to influence her work. All this on — of all places — Fox News.
But Megyn later demolished everyone’s favorite McCain spokestool, Tucker Bounds, temporarily restoring my faith in her:

Reverting to form, though, Kelly is now all twisted up over a silly Canadian Broadcasting Corporation piece by someone called Heather Mallick. Mallick says Palin is “white trash,” and her supporters are “hillbillies.” See? Silly.
Here, Kelly interviews Canadian editorialist David Warren. As Allah notes, Warren is
a conservative [] who agrees with Kelly about the filthiness of Mallick’s smears. . .
The producers must have had to look high and low to find a conservative to agree with a Fox reporter. Here’s the video:

Finally, although I hate to agree with a Republican in an election year, Allah is dead-on-balls-accurate in his assessment of Canada’s serious freedom of speech problem.
