The Pennsylvania Republican Party is now trying to distance itself from an official party email sent to 75,000 Jewish voters. The email says:
Jewish Americans cannot afford to make the wrong decision on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008. Many of our ancestors ignored the warning signs in the 1930s and 1940s and made a tragic mistake. Let’s not make a similar one this year!

Denouncing the email, McCain spokesman Peter Feldman said that
McCain ”rejects politics that degrade our civics.”
Degrades our civics? Actually, trying to capitalize on the murder of six million innocent people doesn’t degrade “civics,” it degrades, demeans, and insults the dead.
