Update: Here’s the show.
On the next Partisan Gridlock – Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 PM….
Last week, the Obama Administration released a series of memos written by Justice Department lawyers during the Bush Administration. To say the least, they’re shocking.
The memos reveal show that what should have been an independent law enforcement arm of the executive branch – the Department of Justice – engaging in plainly flawed reasoning for no reason other than to justify the torture the memos ultimately authorized.
The release of these memos didn’t happen by accident. The release came as a result of a lawsuit (or series of lawsuits) brought by the ACLU through its National Security Project. Tonight, one of the lawyers who worked to bring these memos to light, Alex Abdo, will be our guest.
We’ll also debate whether Sean Hannity is a complete moron or a marketing genius who says moronic things because he knows his audience is too stupid to figure it out. That’s one for the fuckin’ ages.
