About

I’m Geoff Berg.  I live in Houston where I practice law and host Partisan Gridlock on KPFT, 90.1 FM. The show airs every Friday at 3:00 CST. I also host semi-regularly on Denver’s Newsradio 850 KOA and AM 760, Colorado’s Progressive Talk. Partisan Gridlock’s Facebook page is usually updated with show times.

I graduated from New York University in 1991. I moved to Houston after that and started practicing law in 1995. I’m licensed in Texas, Colorado and Pennsylvania.

I’ve been involved in (mostly progressive) politics since I was a kid. In 1976, I went door-to-door for Jimmy Carter (I was for Reagan in ‘80 by the way — even an 11 year old has his limits).  Since then, I’ve worked for Michael Dukakis, Paul Tsongas, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama, and a host of others.

My wife and I have a man-eating dog named Taggart.  He’s a Dogo Argentino, which, according to National Geographic, is the “ultimate” in man’s attempt to create the “perfect dog.”
