Without giving any details, he’s going to make the stock market correct itself, magically rebuild peoples’ savings, and make investments “grow again.” In another lifetime, the McCain campaign didn’t think much of people who made grandiose promises without the wherewithal to make it happen:

The Obama campaign’s overriding theme has been that if you liked the last eight years under George W. Bush, you’ll love the next four under John McCain. So last night, McCain was ready with a zinger.
