Campbell Brown: No Bias, No Bull, No Point

Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, who should know better, was caught by an open mic yesterday  making demonstrably false statements — Sarah Palin is “no genius,” for example.
Rendell also said that Arizona Governor and Homeland Security Secretary-nominee Janet Napolitano is perfect for the job because she has no family, “no life” and can devote “literally 19, [...]

Fussy Right-Wing Muckraker Reacts Predictably to Powell Endorsement of Obama

Reputed double-minority Matt Drudge has the red headlines up at his site. To him, the news of the day is not that Colin Powell today endorsed Barack Obama, but that he (Powell) claims that the endorsement has nothing to do with race. Drudge helpfully reminds readers that Powell previously said that having a black president would [...]

The George Wallace Campaign Simulator

Ever wondered what it might’ve been like to attend a George Wallace rally? Dana Milbank gives us a glimpse with his account of a Palin event in Clearwater, Florida:

For A Moment, I Thought I Might be Wrong About Megyn Kelly

Sarah Palin Interview Watch II

Sarah Palin is now the Republican nominee for vice president.  She has never done an interview as a national candidate.
Yesterday, sassy muckraker Matt Drudge reported that Oprah Winfrey, an Obama supporter, has refused to have Palin on her show. He posted this item:
BIG DILEMMA: OPRAH BALKS AT HOSTING SARAH PALIN; STAFF DIVIDED Fri Sep 05 [...]

Tomorrow the Media Will Love Sarah Palin

Yesterday, I said that a pro-Sarah Palin backlash was on its way:
Sarah Palin is not Dan Quayle.  She can put a sentence together and can get through a speech.  She may sound like the girl making Blizzards at the Anchorage Dairy Queen, but she is not without rhetorical skills.  And now that her family has [...]

Good for Fox News

They say it’s a mouthpiece for the RNC, but I have to give Fox News credit.  Immediately following the McCain-Palin event at which she was announced as his running mate, Fox got an extended reaction directly from the campaign of John McCain.
UPDATE…here’s the video:
